iF DESIGN AWARD NIGHT 2024
It is a night full of glamour, joy and the best people in design: The iF DESIGN AWARD NIGHT on 29 April 2024 in the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin, is the highlight for us and all participants in this award year. On the largest theater stage in the world, 75 gold winners will accept their award trophy on behalf of all winners. Celebrate your win and meet other designers from all over the world. After the big party, there is even more to come: On the following day, the very first iF Design Trend Conference will take place under the motto "How can design help drive the transformation towards a future worth living?" at AXICA next to the Brandenburg Gate.

The world's largest theater stage at the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin provided the glamorous setting for honoring the best international design achievements. Dieter Rams receives Lifetime Achievement Award

A special highlight this year: design icon Dieter Rams received the first iF Design Lifetime Achievement Award! His work has inspired countless industrial designers, including Apple's former design guru, pioneer and influencer of today's smartphone design - British designer Jonathan Ive. In addition, Rams' ten principles of good design continue to guide the work of many people today. Many of his legendary Braun products have won the iF DESIGN AWARD over the years.
The award was presented by iF Design CEO Uwe Cremering; the laudatory speech was given by Prof. Fritz Frenkler, Vice Chairman of the iF Design Foundation.
Meet the People – meet the World of Design
At the iF DESIGN AWARD NIGHT some of the winners come from far away, for example from Australia, Brasil or the USA. Others have a shorter way - they can probably even walk from their Berlin office to the Friedrichstadt-Palast or just take a train ride. No matter how: In this one night, the best people of design meet up!
